East Brook Animal Clinic earned AAHA reaccreditation after a rigorous review. Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. State and provincial regulations for hospitals can vary widely – in fact, some states don’t routinely inspect hospitals. AAHA-accredited hospitals are the only hospitals that choose to be evaluated on approximately 900 quality standards that go above and beyond basic regulations, ranging from patient care and pain management to staff training and advanced diagnostic services.
Surprisingly, nearly 60 percent of pet owners believe that their pet’s veterinary hospital is accredited when it is not. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, and are consistently at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine. “We applaud East Brook Animal Clinic on vigilantly keeping up with advancements in veterinary medicine and adhering to high standards of veterinary excellence,” said Michael Cavanaugh, DVM, DABVP, AAHA chief executive officer. “Pets are their passion, and keeping them healthy is their number one priority. At East Brook Animal Clinic, they strive to deliver excellent care for pets. Why? Because pets deserve nothing less.”
Pet owners look for AAHA-accredited hospitals because they value their pet’s health and trust the consistent, expert care provided by the entire health care team. At AAHA-accredited practices, pet owners can expect to receive the highest quality care from well-trained, veterinary professionals. Only the top small animal hospitals in the United States and Canada have achieved accreditation by the Association. To maintain accredited status, East Brook Animal Clinic must continue to be evaluated regularly by AAHA.
East Brook Animal Clinic, located at 2695 Hwy 70 East in Waverly, Tenn., can be reached at 931-296-9900 or online at www.eastbrookanimalclinic.com.
