11:00 am - Motorless Parade (If you've got a bicycle, wheelbarrow, bathtub with wheels, etc. - BRING IT! Decorate it and join our parade.) ENTRY FORMS AND RULES ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE AFTER THE PARADE Bring your lawn chairs to the Court Square in downtown Waverly for some old-fashioned fun. 11:30 - OPENING CEREMONY 12:00 noon - Patriotic Pets Contest (dress up your pet and let them walk the runway!) 12:00 - Checkers Tournament begins 12:30 - Pie Eating Contest 1:00 - Husband Calling contest 1:30 - Watermelon Eating contest 2:00 - "MOM" calling contest for the kids 2:30 - Rooster Crowing contest 3:00 - Bubble Gum blowing contest for kids and adults TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE SIGN UP FOR CONTEST AT THE EVENT ____________________________________________________ |
